Cougars Do the Puyallup!

September 28, 2006- The Choir, Dance, Drill, and Cheer Teams had a very eventful day at the fair, on September 14, 2006. Ms. Blackburn, choir instructor, says that they did awesome and they are amazing this year. The choir sang Seasons of Love, Like a Mighty Stream, and Mon Mu Coeur Se Reccomande A Vous.
The drill team performed twice. Mrs. Hamilton, Drill Team coach, said, "I am absolutely positively proud of my girls, I think they did a super-duper job!"
Mrs. Earls, coach of the Dance Team, says that she was very proud of her team. "They did an absolutely awesome job. This team is fabulous."
"I was so proud of the cheerleaders, they looked great and got the whole crowd cheering," says Mrs. Hill, the Cheer coach. After all the performances were done some of the girls stayed after and left with their parents.
Cougar Mountain Junior High was well represented at the Puyallup Fair. Not only did the Cougars have an "awesome" booth exhibit, CMJH students showed off their many vocal and gymnastic skills by performing in front of a large audience. A big "thank you" goes out to Ms. Blackburn and the choir, the CMJH Cheerleaders and their coach Mrs. Hill, the CMJH Dance Team (flip side) and their coach Mrs. Earls, and the 7th grade Drill Team lead by Mrs. Hamilton. Everyone did a great job.
