Honored Math Students Earn Pizza with the Principal
December 7, 2006- Several Cougar Mountain Junior High Students were recognized for their outstanding work, attitude, and/or effort in their Math classes by getting to eat "Pizza with the Principal."
Students were nominated by their teachers and provided with a pizza lunch. They were given a certificate of achievement as well as some cool CMJH prizes. Parents of students were also invited to the event.
Principal Cliff Anderson, Assistant Principal Jeff Gutfeld, and Counselors Kim McCann and Laural Wolff spoke to the group and congratulated them on their achievements.
"Pizza with the Principal" is a monthly event at Cougar Mountain. Teachers have the opportunity to recognize the great things that students do. Each month a different content area will nominate students.
