Cougar Selected to Attend Air Force Teen Aviation Camp

April 23, 2007 - Cougar Mountain ninth grader, Collin Nelson, was selected to attend the 8th Annual Air Force Services Teen Aviation Camp this coming June. The Teen Aviation Camp will be conducted at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado from June 2 through June 7.

The camp is designated for high school students who are interested in attending the Air Force Academy and who will be entering their sophomore and/or junior year of high school in the fall of 2007. Also, camp participants have to be dependents of Active Duty Military assigned to or living on an Air Force Base, AF Retired Military, AF Civilian Employees, and Active Air National Guard and AF Reserve members.

Collin was one of only thirty-six students selected nationally for this honor. The camp is intended to provide Collin with a "thorough introduction to Cadet life at the Academy."
