WASL Testing Begins at CMJH
April 18, 2006 - Cougar Mountain Junior High seventh and eighth grade students began taking the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) today. Students in eighth grade will be tested in Reading, Mathematics, and Science. Students in the seventh grade will be tested in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. Some ninth grade students have also decided (it is optional) to take parts of the tenth grade WASL during this testing time.
WASL Testing will continue for two weeks and conclude on April 28. CMJH teachers and students have worked hard all year to prepare for these state mandated assessments of learning.
Assessment results are normally available during the end of summer or the first part of fall.
Good luck to all of our Cougar Mountain students.
