WASL Students Honored with Breakfast
January 27 , 2006- Cougar Mountain Junior High celebrated 185 students who passed the WASL in a fun-filled breakfast January 26 at the school. Parents joined their children as teachers and staff members praised the students' success. In 2005, 114 seventh graders passed the reading, writing, and math sections of the WASL, and 74 eighth graders passed the science WASL.
All students received a certificate -- and a doughnut -- to celebrate their accomplishment.
"We want you to know that we're proud of you," said Principal Cliff Anderson.
