WASL Testing Concludes

May 2 , 2006 - Cougar Mountain Junior High seventh and eighth grade students have finished taking the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL). Eighth grade students were tested in three areas: Reading, Mathematics, and Science. Seventh grade students were also tested in three areas: Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. Some ninth grade students decided to take parts of the tenth grade WASL early.

The WASL test, which is mandated by Washington State Law, will be scored this spring and summer. Results will be available in late summer or early fall.

Cougar Mountain staff worked very hard to prepare the students for the annual assessment. Students put forth a great effort.
