Honored Students Earn Pizza with the Principal
May 22, 2007- On May 16th, several Cougar Mountain Junior High Students were recognized for their participation and various school events. They received"Pizza with the Principal" for their efforts.
Students were nominated by their teachers and provided with a pizza lunch. They were given a certificate of achievement as well as some cool CMJH prizes. Parents of students were also invited to the event.
Principal Cliff Anderson, Administrative Intern Kevin Mensonides, and Counselors Kim McCann and Laural Wolff spoke to the group and congratulated them on their achievements.
"Pizza with the Principal" is a monthly event at Cougar Mountain. Teachers have the opportunity to recognize the great things that students do. Each month a different content area will nominate students.
