I graduated from Bethel High School in 1982. I attended Eastern Washington University and graduated with a Home Economics degree in 1987. After graduation, I received two endorsements in the areas of Consumer Education and Health. I am currently working on my masters degree in the area of Integrated Technology at City University and will graduate summer of 2005.

I have been teaching for 18 years. Seventeen of those years have been with the Bethel School District. I have taught at Bethel High, Spanaway Lake High, and Frontier Junior High.

I have been married for 16 years and have 2 children.

My hobbies include cooking, sewing, and scrapbooking.
