GET THE FACS! Family and Consumer Science Newsletter February 1, 2005 Welcome Cougs!!! Attention all Cougar 9th grade Students, Parents and or Guardians, Hello and welcome to a new and exciting semester at Cougar Mountain Junior High. My name is Michelle Hamilton and I am going to be your child’s Family and Consumer Science teacher. Most of you are probably familiar with the “old” name, Home Economics. As the times change, so does the name. I have voluntarily transferred from Spanaway Lake High School where I have taught Family and Consumer Sciences for the last eight years. I am starting the 18th year of teaching in the Bethel School District and I am looking forward to teaching you child. This class is a graduation requirement for Bethel, Challenger, Graham-Kapowsin, and Spanaway Lake High Schools . If you have any questions or concerns I can be reached at 683-8146 or e-mail me at mhamilton@bethelsd.org Vocabulary review words for the month of February:
