Predict: To tell about or make known in advance, especially on the basis of special knowledge or inference.
Sept 10-14 - Area: The area of a flat or plane figure is the number of unit squares that can be contained within it. The unit square is usually some standard unit, like a square meter, a square foot, or a square inch.
Sept 17-21 - Central tendancy: A single number that describes all numbers in a set. Three common measures of central tendancy are mean, median, and mode.
Sept 24-28 - Conjecture: Inference or judgement based on inconclusive or incomplete evidence; an educated guess.
Oct 1-5 - Inequality: Two or more sets of values that are not equal.
Oct 8-11 - Perimeter: The distance around the outside of a shape or a figure
Oct 15-19 - Volume: A measure in cubic units of the space contained in the interior of a solid figure.
Oct 22-26 - Dimension: The length, Width, or Height of an object.
Oct 29-Nov 2 - Average: A measure of central tendancy; generally, average will imply arithmetic average, which could be the mean, median, or mode.
Nov 5-8 - Capacity: Volume and capacity are both terms for the measures of the "size" of three- dimensional regions. Standard units of volume are expressed terms of length units, such as cubic centimeters. Capacity units are generally applied to liquids or containers that hold liquid. Standard capacity units include quarts and gallons, liters and millileters.
Nov 13-16 - Characteristic: a distinguishing element.
Nov 19-21 - Circumference: The boundary, or perimeter of a circle; also the length of the perimeter of a circle.
Nov 26-30 - Common Denomintator: A number divisible by all of the denominators of two or more fractions.
Dec 3-7 - Compare: Look for similarities and differances.
Dec 10-14 - Contrast: To emphasize differances.
Jan 2-4 - Approximate: To obtain a number close to an exact number.
Jan 7-11 - Dividend: A number which is to be divided by another number.
Jan 14-18 - Conclusion: A statement that follows logically from other facts.
Jan 22-25 - Divisible: One integer is divisible by another non-zero integer if the quotient is an integer with remainder of zero.
Jan 28- Feb 1 - Data: Collected pieces of information.
Feb 4-8 - Deductive reasoning: Using logic, Defininitions, and other statements known to be true in order to prove another statement is true.

Feb 10-22 - Formula: A general mathematical statement, equation, or rule.
Feb 25-29 - Fluency: Understanding of mathematical procedures and the skill to use them with efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility.
Mar 3-7 - Predict: To tell about or make known in advance, especially on the basis of special knowledge or inference.
Mar 10-14 - Infer: To draw a conclusion from facts of evidence. (A conjecture based on inductive reasoning).
Mar 17-21 - Interpret: To explain the meaning of information, facts, and/or observations.
Mar 24-28 - Justify: To prove or show to be true or valid using logic and/or evidence.
Apr 7-11 - Mass: The amount of matter in an object.
