November 18, 2005- Cougar Mountain hosted a Veterans Day Assembly on November 10. We had veterans from all over in the community including our own superintendent Tom Siegel. The Graham-Kapowsin color guard presented the flag ceremony. The band, choir, and orchestra performed. The band performed Valiant Fanfare, Amazing Grace, Marches of the Armed Forces with the choir. The choir also sang We Are America, with solos by Nicole Carabello, Jordan McCann, Rachel Tillman, Bradley Sweet, and Bruce Brown. There were speeches given by Mr. Gutfeld, Mr. Shoot, and Mr. Siegel. A memorial slide show was given by Mr. Gutfeld.
